Schulze Family Foundation College Scholarships
The RMSFF board of trustees has overwhelmingly affirmed its support for the Schulze Family Foundation Scholarship program for graduating high school seniors from middle-income families by increasing the number of scholarships available. This program is designed to reduce the crushing college debt burden faced by college students who have unmet need but don’t qualify for federal grant assistance.
There are currently 131 Schulze Family Foundation Scholars from Minnesota, Florida, California and Colorado attending 81 different colleges in pursuit of their dreams of becoming engineers, doctors, musicians, teachers, nurses and so much more. They are involved in volunteer work through church and community activities, holding down part time jobs, participating in varsity athletics, Model U.N. and math teams, just to name a few. We are very proud to call them Schulze Scholars.
We will award 46 renewable $5,000 scholarships to deserving students from selected high schools in Minnesota, Florida, California and Colorado. Successful candidates will show they have distinguished themselves through community and/or church activities while showing significant academic achievement in high school. Scholarships are awarded to U.S. citizens for four consecutive years of full-time college enrollment with satisfactory academic performance.
Applications for 2017 are now closed. Applications for 2018 will open on January 3, 2018.
