Our Vision and Mission

Founder’s Vision

“Enabling transformational change benefiting mankind.”

Our Mission

The RMSFF is driven to improve the lives of others, particularly U.S. middle- and working-class families, through results-oriented investments in human & social services, education, and health & medicine with a special focus on the seven-county metropolitan area of Minneapolis and St. Paul and Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties in Florida.

Our Values

Our Founder cites the Beatitudes, taken from Matthew’s Gospel, as informing and motivating his philanthropy. The Beatitudes articulate a Christian-based set of values that elevates the most vulnerable, least powerful among us. Inherent in these values is a call to those with resources and influence to direct their gifts toward helping those in need. As our Founder often quotes, “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded.” Luke 12:48 St. James Bible NIV

These beliefs underpin our Founder’s commitment to transformational philanthropy and the Foundation’s commitment to valuing and supporting the inherent dignity of all individuals.

The Beatitudes

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 5:3-11 -St. James Bible NIV
