Our Scientific Advisers

The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has been involved in issues of health and medicine since its founding. The family and the board have become familiar with a number of respected physician/researchers and other experts over the years. They have engaged as advisors several upon whom they rely for advice on matters that go beyond the expertise of the board and that of the foundation staff. These individuals are trusted friends who make recommendations on the very few research proposals that are invited to be submitted to the foundation for consideration. The foundation is confining its attention to stem cell research and regenerative medicine at this point in its history and is not disease focused in its work. Only proposals that have short-term prospects of in-clinic application are of interest to the foundation and are accepted, again, by invitation only.
