A place for survival and hope during grief.
An RMSFF grantee since its founding in 2017, Brighter Days Family Grief Center has 85 Twin Cities partners and has provided a place for survival and hope to over 7,000 bereaved people. “We strive to be the Hazelden of grief,” says Carolyn Kinzel, their founder. Their monthly event and workshop calendar is full and varied. From audience specific Camp Erin for grieving youth, Bereaved Dads or Siblings or Children to cause of death specific like overdose, sudden, or illness, Brighter Days offers comprehensive support, survival strategies and hope for grieving families. Mpls St Paul Magazine highlights their history, their work and their capital campaign funded future here. Learn more about the center on their website.
